Rahul Shah
CEO
Rahul Shah is the founder, CEO of DSR Management Inc. Prior to his founding of
DSR, Rahul was an independent consultant at Allstate Insurance and Comdisco Inc,
where he was responsible for establishing a QA team and converting the testing/QA
group from a manual to automated test environment.
Rahul grew the team from two resources to 50 employees and helped establish an off-shore
testing center in Northern Ireland. Additionally, Rahul provided consulting services
to various startups during the dot com era and helped facilitate off-shore development
projects for these companies.
Rahul has invested in and is an advisor for a Bioinformatics firm based out of India.
Alex Tavakoli
President
Alex Tavakoli is the President at DSR Management Inc., responsible for Sales, Marketing,
Recruiting and company operations. Before joining DSR Management Inc. in January
2008, Alex was a Vice President with Motorola Inc., responsible for its Middle East
and Africa operations.
Alex resided in Dubai for 8 years as part of an expatriate assignment with Motorola.
He was instrumental in growing the business by 50% annually over a six-year period.
Prior to that, Alex was Motorola's Country Manager in Russia where he pioneered
Motorola's operations in Russia and the former Soviet Union markets. Alex embarked
on building one of the largest software centers the company owned and signed the
largest cellular contract in Europe with MTS in Moscow.
Prior to his Russia assignment, Alex was a financial controller in Motorola's international
division based in Schaumburg, Illinois. He started his career with Motorola in 1985
in the Corporate Audit department. Alex has also worked at Hill, Taylor & Company,
a CPA firm in Chicago.
Alex has a Masters degree in Accounting, is a CPA, and completed an executive education
program at Kellogg School of Management. He is also an adjunct Professor at DePaul
University.
Manjari Gupta
CFO
Manjari Gupta is the Chief Financial Officer at DSR Management Inc. Manjari started
her career in 1995 as Assistant Manager with ITW, a US based multinational firm.
She quickly grew to manage the finance department of Indian operations at ITW.
In 2000, Manjari moved to the United States and joined DSR Management Inc., then
a young IT company. She has played, and continues to play, a key role in sustaining
and facilitating the growth of DSR. Manjari received her B.S in Business and was
awarded a gold medal recognizing her academic excellence. She went on to receive
her MBA in finance from Indian Institute of Management, the most prestigious business
school in India.
Shobha Shagle
VP, Human Resources
Shobha Shagle is the Vice President of Human Resources at DSR Management Inc. Prior
to joining DSR Management Inc., in February 2008, Shobha was a Sr. Research Scientist
at NORC, University of Chicago and Northwestern University.
Jibi John
India Operations Manager
Jibi John is the India Operation Manager at DSR Management India Office. He oversees
various aspects of human resource management, performance management, training &
development, ongoing development programs for India operations.
Before joining DSR Management Inc. in September 2005, Jibi served as an Operation
Manager for a leading SAP services partner company, a U.S. based multinational firm.
Jibi has over 7 years of experience working in Offshore Development model. He has
played a key leadership role in strategic growth, expansion and fostering the success
of DSRM India Operation. Jibi has a Bachelors Degree in Computer Engineering from
B.A.M. University.
John Deconcilis
QA Practice Manager
John Deconcilis heads the DSR QA Practice and has over fourteen years of experience
in the field of Software Quality Assurance. He holds a CSTE certification from QAI
and is a Certified Product Specialist in Mercury/HP tools. John has extensive experience
in manual testing processes, regression automation, automated performance testing,
release management, and test management. With a solid mixture of experiences in
consulting and permanent positions, he has a wide breadth of exposure to a variety
of industries, platforms, tools, and processes.
John's diverse capabilities include:
- Presenting the value of QA to IT leadership.
- Implementing changes to improve software quality in large, medium, and small IT
organizations.
- Flexibility in designing QA processes that fit within organizations SDLC and culture.
- Implementing changes to improve product delivery and quality by fine-tuning release
management.
- Overseeing the implementation of best of breed testing tools from various vendors.
- An expert certified user of the Mercury Interactive tool suite.
- Implementing QA metrics to baseline and assess product quality.
